Sony NEX-F3 Features

If you love yourself, you're going to love this camera.

The LCD on the Sony NEX-F3 features a hinge that allows it to flip all the way above the camera so that it can be viewed from the front. You'll never cut off your head taking a self-portrait again.

While you can trust yourself to frame your portraits correctly what happens when you hand your camera over to some stranger at a spectacular scenic overlook?

In this case, Sony's "Auto Portrait Framing" takes over, automatically cropping any portrait image so that it has a more pleasing composition. The original image is saved as well, in case you decide you like that better.

You also don't have to worry about toting along an accessory flash wherever you go — a flash is now built in to the camera body.

The Sony NEX-F3 is a "bridge" mirrorless camera, designed for those just making the transition from a point-and-shoot compact. As such, it is heavy on the "auto" modes and lighter on custom controls.

The good news is that it's not light on image quality, using the same sensor that Sony includes in its significantly larger digital SLRs.
