Sony NEX-6 Features

It's like a digital SLR that got zapped by a miniature ray.

The NEX-6 features controls and settings that you're more likely to find on a full-size digital SLR than on a compact camera.

The big difference between this camera and the less expensive NEX-5R is the viewfinder: an OLED electronic viewfinder with a whopping 2.36 million dots designed to maximize the clarity of the image.

Another difference is the addition of a mode dial on the top of the camera that allows you to quickly access all the different shooting modes.

These features alone wouldn't justify the price of the NEX-6: in addition, you also get built-in wireless (WiFi), built-in flash plus a standard hot shoe for external flash and the capacity to capture consecutive images at a rate of 10 per second.

The one missing feature on this camera is a touch-sensitive LCD screen which is available on the Sony NEX-5R and the NEX-5N.
