The Sony NEX-5R features built-in wireless connectivity — allowing you to transfer photos to a cell phone or tablet.

In addition, you can download apps to the camera that will extend its functionality.

These applications are provided by Sony and are designed for specific photographic needs like exposure bracketing (Bracket Pro) and photo retouching (Photo Retouch). The "Direct Upload" application lets you upload images you take directly to Facebook.

Additional apps will let you backup photos to your computer's hard drive, and display images on an HDTV (so long as the TV supports wirelss connections).

While the wirless is definitley the marquee Sony NEX-5R feature, this mirrorless camera has a lot of other things to offer.
