Panasonic DMC-GF3
Release Date: July 2011
List Price: $600 USD
Overview
How to you make a camera small and light? Simple: just remove features.
This is what Panasonic has done with the DMC-GF3. As of 2011, this camera is the smallest and lightest mirrorless camera from Panasonic.
The camera body is not all that much bigger than a smartphone — until you stick a lens on the front of it.
In order to achieve the size and weight reduction, Panasonic had to remove some features that are available on some of its other camera models.
