Pentax Mirrorless Cameras

Pentax has a long history of creating solid film and digital SLR cameras.

It took the company some time to make the switch to mirrorless cameras, but they eventually did, introducing a model that is unique because of its lens compatibility.

Since mirrorless cameras are compact in size, their lens mounts are smaller than those for standard SLRs.

This means that you can't use an existing SLR lens on a mirrorless camera without buying a separate adapter.

The first Pentax mirrorless camera has no such issues, since its larger lens mount is fully compatible with all Pentax SLR lenses (also called KAF2 mount).
