Overview

The DMC-G3 slides right in between the ultra-simple DMC-GF3 and the more advanced DMC-GX1.

It is the follow-up to the DMC-G2 and its defining characteristic is that it includes a built-in viewfinder (which is non-existent on the GF3 and optional with the GX1).

The DMC-G3 also features a 3 inch flexible LCD screen that flips out from the camera body and rotates in all directions. The LCD is a touchscreen, which you can use to change menu settings, set the autofocus point or even take pictures.

A brand new 16 megapixel image sensor ensures high image quality, while the improved autofocus system helps you lock on to all kinds of subjects, both stationary and moving.
